The Executive
The executive branch is conformed:
-
The President who is elected by popular vote for a four-year term, renewable once and he is also the head of government.

The Vice President is elected together with the president as a running mate.
-
Ministers are chosen by the president with the consent of the parliament.


The Legislature
The legislature is camera, comprising of 230 members, each member elected for a four year term.

The Judiciary
Ghana’s judicial system are the Supreme Court; High Court; Court of appeal and ten regional tribunals established for each region. The Judicial system is headed by the Chief Justice, who is appointed by the President and approved by the parliament.
Government and politics
The main branches of government in Ghana include the Executive,
the Legislature and the Judiciary.
